Myriad Shareholders Vote Overwhelmingly in Favour of

Board Resolutions at EGM

ZURICH, Switzerland – 15 August 2013 – At an Extraordinary General Meeting of Myriad Group AG (SIX Swiss Exchange: MYRN) held on the 15th August 2013, shareholders approved all motions as submitted by the Board of Directors. A total of 28,094,278 shares, or approx. 45.80% of the share capital was represented either by proxies or by shareholders personally attending the Meeting.

  1. Mr Mauro Saladini was elected as non-executive member of the Board of Directors with 95.42% of the votes represented.
  2. The Shareholders Meeting approved the creation of ordinary capital in accordance with Article 3 of the Articles of Incorporation. This agenda item was approved with 99.56% of the votes represented.

Mr Mauro Saladini, a Swiss citizen, is a finance industry veteran with extensive experience as a senior executive at leading companies, including: Kudelski Group, McKinsey & Co, Accenture and Thema Consulting. Mr Saladini will replace Mr Richard Francis on the Myriad Board. Mr Francis will continue as Myriad’s Chief Financial Officer.
