2020 annual general meeting – coronavirus
The annual general meeting of Bucher Industries on 24 April 2020 will be held without the physical attendance of shareholders in accordance with the Federal Council Ordinance on Measures to Combat the Coronavirus (COVID-19 Ordinance 2). The exercise of voting rights may be delegated to the independent proxy holder by written or electronic proxy.
On 16 March 2020, the Federal Council declared an extraordinary situation in Switzerland in connection with the coronavirus pandemic and issued an ordinance to this effect. Among other drastic measures, public and private events are prohibited. However, the Federal Council has provided for an exception for general meetings of companies so that they can be held without the attendance of shareholders, who may exercise their rights exclusively through the independent proxy holder.
Bucher Industries is exercising this right and will hold the annual general meeting on 24 April 2020 at the premises of Bucher Management AG, Flughafenstrasse 90, 8058 Zurich, without the physical attendance of shareholders. The exercise of voting rights may be delegated to the independent proxy holder by written or electronic proxy. This can be done using the form sent to shareholders or online using the login data that shareholders have received.
