Ascom Annual General Meeting voted in favor of all proposals Mittwoch, 15. April 2020 - 17:49
The Annual General Meeting of Ascom Holding AG voted in favor of all proposals of the Board of Directors by very clear majorities.
23'964'524 votes or about 66,6% of the share capital were represented at the Annual General Meeting of Ascom Holding AG, which was held on 15 April 2020 in Baar without the physical attendance of the shareholders due to the COVID-19 outbreak.
The Annual General Meeting elected the proposed four new Board members:
- Nicole Burth Tschudi, CEO Adecco Group Switzerland
- Laurent Dubois, former CEO GE Healthcare Partners
- Michael Reitermann, former Member of Managing Board Siemens Healthineers
- Dr Andreas Schönenberger, CEO of Sanitas Kranken-versicherung
The Board of Directors of Ascom Holding AG consists now of six members including Dr Valentin Chapero Rueda, Chairman of the Board, and Jürg Fedier, Chairman of the Audit Committee.
The General Meeting approved also the revision of the Articles of Association and the amounts for future compensation of the Board of Directors and the Executive Board.
The Company looks back to a satisfactory first quarter 2020 and has been able to improve its overall cash position including the renewal of the credit facilities that were due this May. The uncertainty around the Corona situation remains, and the global Ascom team is extremelly engaged and motivated in dealing with these challenges.
