Standard & Poor's lowers rating on Flughafen Zürich AG to A+

S&P has revised the rating on Flughafen Zürich AG to A+ (from AA-), with negative outlook.

According to the rating agency, European airports face a steeper and more protracted recovery in air passenger traffic due to harsher COVID-19 restrictions than previously expected. The negative outlook reflects their view on the uncertainty about the pace, extent, and timing of air travel recovery.

At the same time, the independent Swiss rating agency fedafin AG still has a AA- rating on Flughafen Zürich AG.
