Listing News

On 18 September 2000, the first ETF was launched on the Swiss Stock Exchange. Since then, the segment for Exchange Traded Funds has grown immensely: with close to 1,600 ETFs from 28 different providers, the Swiss Stock Exchange offers its clients the opportunity to invest in a wide range of areas efficiently and cost effectively. The variety and number ETFs on the exchange have grown continuously as a consequence of various innovations.

The next milestone for ETFs on the Swiss Stock Exchange is already visible on the horizon: To meet the needs of institutional clients, SIX will launch its new "ETF Quote on Demand" service at the end of the year.
