Julius Baer Group Ltd. to redeem Perpetual Tier 1 Subordinated bonds issued 18 November 2015 at first call date

Zurich, 12 October 2020 – Julius Baer announces it will exercise its option to redeem all of the outstanding perpetual Tier 1 bonds issued on 18 November 2015 at par value plus accrued interest on the first call date of 18 November 2020, in accordance with section 3 (c) of the terms of the bonds. The bonds (ISIN: XS1322369338), with a coupon of 5.9% per annum, were issued by Julius Baer Group Ltd. in the aggregate nominal amount of SGD 450 million. The redemption of the high-trigger Additional Tier 1 bonds was funded by the issue of USD 350 million of high-trigger Additional Tier 1 bonds on 29 September 2020 with a coupon of 4.875%.
