Julius Baer opens branch in Mannheim

01-10-2013

Stronger presence in the German market

Bank Julius Bär Europe AG opens a branch in Mannheim. The private bank, part of the Swiss Julius Baer Group, will thus be on hand to provide local, independent wealth management services to its clients in the Rhine-Neckar region, too. Julius Baer now has a total of eight offices in Germany.

With the opening of its new branch, Bank Julius Baer is strengthening its presence in the German market. Clients in the Mannheim region now have direct access to tailor-made strategies for professional wealth management and to an integrated, independent wealth advisory service that also encompasses succession planning, inheritance strategies and foundations.

In the Rhine-Neckar region, an area with significant economic clout, private client business is seeing growing demand. However, there are currently only a handful of private banks in this region. “The Mannheim branch represents the next milestone in the growth strategy of the Julius Baer Group,” said Gian A. Rossi, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bank Julius Bär Europe AG. Heiko Schlag, CEO of Bank Julius Bär Europe AG, added: “We are delighted to have acquired an experienced and highly skilled team of relationship managers with good local contacts for our new branch, enabling us to give our clients the best possible service right on their doorstep.”

In Germany, Bank Julius Bär Europe AG has offices in Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, Hamburg, Kiel, Munich, Stuttgart and Würzburg. The new branch in Mannheim can be contacted by telephone on +49 (0)621 37 007 800. More information will be announced when we move into our new premises in Mannheim in the spring of next year.
