LLB-Gruppe verkauft Jura Trust AG
Vaduz, 18. Oktober 2013. Die LLB-Gruppe und der Vorsitzende der Geschäftsleitung der Jura Trust AG haben einen Vertrag über den Verkauf der Jura Trust AG unterzeichnet. Der Vorsitzende der Geschäftsleitung der Jura Trust AG übernimmt das Aktienpaket der LLB-Gruppe im Rahmen eines Management-Buy-out. Durch den Verkauf, der bis Ende 2013 abgeschlossen werden soll, treibt die LLB-Gruppe die Fokussierung auf das Kerngeschäft weiter voran. Alle Arbeitsplätze der Jura Trust AG bleiben erhalten.
Im Rahmen ihrer neuen Strategie «Focus2015» konzentriert sich die LLB-Gruppe auf klar definierte Märkte und Kundensegmente. Infolge dessen hat die LLB-Gruppe im März 2013 unter anderem angekündigt, mit der Jura Trust AG ihr Treuhandgeschäft zu veräussern.
Meilenstein in Strategieumsetzung
"Der Verkauf markiert einen weiteren wichtigen Meilenstein in der Umsetzung unserer strategischen Initiativen", erklärt Roland Matt, CEO der LLB-Gruppe. Besonders hervorzuheben sei dabei, dass durch den Verkauf an den Vorsitzenden der Geschäftsleitung der Jura Trust AG sowohl die Interessen der Kunden als auch der Mitarbeitenden vollumfänglich gewahrt würden. "Alle 25 Stellen bleiben erhalten und für die Kunden bedeutet die erzielte Lösung, dass sie weiterhin in der gewohnten Form betreut werden. Aufgrund dessen stellt dieses Ergebnis für alle Betroffenen eine optimale Lösung dar", fügt Urs Müller an, Leiter Institutional Clients der LLB-Gruppe.
Der Verkauf soll bis Ende 2013 abgeschlossen sein. Über den Verkaufspreis wurde zwischen den Vertragspartnern Stillschweigen vereinbart. Die Dekonsolidierung der Gesellschaft belastet das Ergebnis der LLB-Gruppe im 2013 mit rund CHF 8 Mio.

LLB Group sells Jura Trust AG
Vaduz, 18 October 2013. The LLB Group and the Chairman of the Management Board of Jura Trust AG have signed a contract of sale for Jura Trust AG. The Chairman of the Management Board of Jura Trust AG will take over the equity stake held by the LLB Group as part of a management buy-out. Thanks to the sale, which should be concluded by the end of 2013, the LLB Group will be able to further advance the focus on its core business. All jobs at Jura Trust AG will be preserved.
As part of its new strategy «Focus2015», the LLB Group is concentrating on clearly defined markets and client segments. As a consequence, one of the LLB Group's announcements in March 2013 was that it would sell its trust business, Jura Trust AG.
Milestone in implementation of the strategy
"The sale marks another important milestone in the implementation of our strategic initiatives," says Roland Matt, CEO of the LLB Group. It should be especially emphasized in this connection that the sale to the Chairman of the Management Board of Jura Trust AG fully safeguards the interests of both clients and employees. "All 25 jobs will be preserved, and the clients will continue to be taken care of in the accustomed form. For these reasons, the achieved result represents an optimal solution for everyone involved," says Urs Müller, Head of Institutional Clients at the LLB Group.
The sale should be concluded by the end of 2013. The contracting parties agreed to maintain confidentiality about the selling price. The deconsolidation of the company will impact the result of the LLB Group in 2013 in the amount of about CHF 8 million.
