Zurich announces redemption of subordinated debt

Zurich Insurance Group (Zurich) today announced that it intends to exercise its option to redeem USD 1 billion of subordinated debt.

The USD 1 billion 4.75% Fixed Rate Capital Notes, issued by Zurich Insurance Company Ltd in 2016, are expected to be redeemed on January 20, 2022, at par plus accrued interest.
