SGS, the world’s leading testing, inspection and certification company, is very pleased to be a winner of the 2022 SIG Energy Transition Awards (Trophées SIG de la Transition énergétique | SIG (sig-ge.ch)) for its commitment to and achievements in energy transition management at its headquarters in Geneva (Switzerland).
Committed to SIG's eco21 program since 2012, SGS's headquarters has achieved cumulative electricity savings of 1.08 Gigawatt hours over the last ten years. This is equivalent to the annual consumption of more than 200 households. With its IMPULSE project dedicated to the redesign of the offices, SGS has updated lights with LED technology, reduced its printer fleet and optimized the building's automation, heat production and air conditioning, significantly improving energy performance.
