We proudly introduce the IRIS-W1 series, our latest addition to the multi-radio
stand-alone
module portfolio. The IRIS-W1 is a pioneering tri-radio module
supporting Wi-Fi, Bluetooth® LE, and Thread (including Matter); it has
been designed specifically for the industrial segment.
First of
its kind as a dual-band Wi-Fi 6 stand-alone module, IRIS-W1 delivers a
powerful wireless MCU with Bluetooth LE 5.3 and LE Audio, as well as
enhanced security features.
The
IRIS-W1 series is well-suited for applications such as industrial
automation, medical equipment, EV charging, smart building and smart
home (including smart appliances), after-market telematics, and
industrial power tools.
Based
on the NXP RW612 chipset, IRIS-W1 supports enhanced security features,
including NXP EdgeLock™, Arm® TrustZone®, secure boot, encryption,
authentication, and storage.
The dual-band Wi-Fi 6 module series is available in two sub-series: The
IRIS-W10 series features a robust open CPU architecture for customized applications while the IRIS-W16 series
is configured with the uconnectXpress software for accelerating time to
market. Each of these series has two variants to offer a convenient
alternative between a performant PCB antenna or an external antenna of
choice.
