The SFS Group has acquired Etanco S.A.U., a Spanish distributor of fasteners, fixings, and accessories to the building envelope, effective May 1, 2024. The acquisition of Etanco will strengthen the market position of the Construction division of SFS in Spain and Portugal. With about ten dedicated employees, Etanco generated sales of approximately EUR 4 million in 2023.

Etanco, based in Madrid (Spain) and established in 1984, is a leading distributor of high-end applications for building envelopes in Spain and Portugal. Its core competence is adding value for the customers by offering high quality products and systems including services such as consulting, designing, and planning.

In 2023, Etanco generated sales of approximately EUR 4 million with its customer base mainly in Spain and Portugal. Thanks to the acquisition of Etanco, SFS will be able to improve its competitiveness by extending its product portfolio, become the leading specialist in the Iberian market and thereby strengthen its own position in the long term.
