Holcim marked a key decarbonization milestone in May, as we broke ground on our GO4ZERO carbon capture and storage (CCS) project at our plant in Obourg, Belgium. The ceremony was attended by special guests such as Alexander de Croo, Prime Minister of Belgium.

This follows the groundbreaking ceremony to launch our Carbon2Business project in Lägerdorf, Germany which will be one of the first climate-neutral cement plants in the world in 2028.
