COLTENE reports strong growth for the financial year 2024

COLTENE Holding AG, a leading international developer and manufacturer of dental consumables and small equipment, expects net sales of CHF 250.3 million for the financial year 2024, representing a strong growth compared to 2023. The EBIT margin has also improved considerably compared to the previous year and is expected to reach 10.6%.

According to preliminary figures, COLTENE group sales increased by 3.1% to CHF 250.3 million in the financial year 2024 (2023: CHF 242.7 million). Adjusted for currency effects, this represents a significant growth of 6.3%. Growth was particularly strong in North America, where COLTENE gained market share. Although this was partly achieved on the back of a recovery from the extensive destocking in the previous year, growth was realized despite economic challenges, which had an overall negative impact on the market.

For the financial year 2024, COLTENE expects an EBIT margin of 10.6%, a significant improvement compared to the previous year (8.1%). This increase is primarily due to economies of scale, a strict cost control and the consequent implementation of the Operational Excellence strategy. As part of this strategy, a global procurement organization was introduced that has identified and realized savings opportunities. In addition, a slightly adjusted product mix contributed positively to the operating margin.

COLTENE is maintaining its previously communicated medium-term targets. Management is confident that the defined strategic measures, some of which are already in progress, will further increase growth and profitability.
