ALSO Konzern: Erweitert seine Cloud-Dienstleistungen und wird zum Cloud-Enabler

Die ALSO Holding AG hat einen Kaufvertrag zur Übernahme der Nervogrid Oy, Helsinki, Finnland, abgeschlossen. Das Unternehmen ist im Bereich Cloud Computing tätig und hat sich auf die Entwicklung von „Cloud Brokerage Enablement“-Plattformen spezialisiert, über die das Management von privaten, öffentlichen und hybriden Cloud-Geschäften automatisiert und effizient abgewickelt werden kann. Die neu erworbene Gesellschaft wird zukünftig unter dem Namen ALSO Cloud Oy firmieren.

Das Herzstück, die webbasierte „Cloud Control Panel as a Service“-Technologie, erlaubt es den ALSO-Kunden verschiedene IT-Services wie Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) und Software as a Service (SaaS) autonom und in einfachen Schritten anzubieten. Wiederverkäufer verwenden die „Cloud Control Panel as a Service“-Technologie, um den gesamten Verkaufsprozesses zu entwickeln, zu steuern und zu unterhalten, von der sehr einfachen „Drag-and-Drop“ Angebotserstellung über das Ausrollen der Cloud-Services bis hin zur Leistungsabrechnung und Rechnungsstellung.

Mit dieser Service Plattform schlagen wir eine Brücke zwischen Herstellern und Wiederverkäufern. Für ALSO eröffnen sich mit der Vermittlung von Cloud-Dienstleistungen neue Geschäftsmöglichkeiten mit unabhängigen Software- und Service-Lieferanten“, sagt Gustavo Möller-Hergt, CEO der ALSO Holding AG.

Im Jahre 2013 meldete Nervogrid Oy einen Umsatz von rund 3 Millionen Euro und beschäftigte rund 30 Mitarbeitende. ALSO Cloud Oy wird als Tochtergesellschaft der ALSO Holding AG zugeordnet. Über den Kaufpreis wurde Stillschweigen vereinbart.

ALSO Group: expands its cloud services and becomes a cloud enabler

ALSO Holding AG has concluded a purchase contract for the acquisition of Nervogrid Oy, Helsinki, Finland. The company is active in the cloud computing sector and is specialized in the development of Cloud Brokerage Enablement platforms with which the management of private, public, and hybrid cloud transactions can be automated and efficiently processed. In the future, the newly acquired company will trade under the name of ALSO Cloud Oy.

The core element, the web-based Cloud Control Panel as a Service technology, enables customers and partners of ALSO to offer various IT services, such as Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), and Software as a Service (SaaS), autonomously and in simple steps. Resellers use the Cloud Control Panel as a Service technology to develop, drive and manage the entire sales process, from very easy drag-and-drop offer-preparation through roll-out of the cloud services to performance-reporting and billing.

"With this acquisition, ALSO Holding AG wants to strengthen its expertise in the cloud business and to develop it further. We offer our customers and partners in the cloud environment an ideal Cloud Brokerage Enablement platform from which to offer their cloud services to a broad base of resellers and their customers. This service platform enables us to create a bridge between vendor and reseller. In 2013, Nervogrid Oy reported sales revenue of approximately 3 million euros and had around 30 employees. ALSO Cloud Oy will be become a subsidiary of ALSO Holding AG. It has been agreed that the purchase price will not be disclosed.
