Zwei Nominationen für Post-Verwaltungsrat
Der Verwaltungsrat der Schweizerischen Post AG schlägt der Generalversammlung vom 29. April 2014 Dr. Myriam Meyer und Nadja Lang als neue Verwaltungsrats-Mitglieder vor. Sie sollen auf den scheidenden Vizepräsidenten Dominique Freymond sowie die Ende 2013 ausgetretene Nicola Thibaudeau folgen.
Der Verwaltungsrat der Schweizerischen Post AG schlägt der Generalversammlung vom 29. April 2014 Dr. Myriam Meyer und Nadja Lang als neue VR-Mitglieder vor. Sie sollen auf die bisherigen Mitglieder Dominique Freymond und Nicola Thibaudeau folgen. Dominique Freymond, amtierender Vizepräsident des Verwaltungsrats der Schweizerischen Post AG, scheidet 2014 aufgrund der Erreichung der maximalen Amtsdauer von zwölf Jahren aus dem Gremium aus. Darüber hinaus gilt es den Sitz von Nicola Thibaudeau wieder zu besetzen. Sie ist nach sieben Jahren Amtszeit aus beruflichen Gründen per Ende 2013 aus dem Verwaltungsrat zurückgetreten. Mit der Bestätigung der Nominationen an der ersten Generalversammlung der Schweizerischen Post AG vom 29. April 2014 würde sich der Verwaltungsrat neu aus drei Frauen und sechs Männern zusammensetzen. Das Gremium wird seit dem 20. Januar 2010 von Peter Hasler präsidiert.
Dr. Myriam Meyer (51) ist Inhaberin und Geschäftsführerin der Firma mmtec. Die promovierte ETH-Maschineningenieurin war fast 20 Jahre an der Führungsspitze diverser Industrieunternehmen tätig, von der Aviatik über die Pharma- bis zur Maschinen- und Verfahrensindustrie. Durch den Einsitz in verschiedenen Verwaltungsräten von internationalen Unternehmen verfügt sie über grosse VR-Erfahrung. Die gebürtige Walliserin ist Mitglied im Verwaltungsrat von SITA, Repower AG und Bedag Informatik AG. Sie wurde zudem vom Bundesrat zur Vizepräsidentin der Kommission für Technologie & Innovation (KTI) gewählt, ist Mitglied des Industrie-Beirates der ETH Zürich / Abt. Maschinenbau sowie Mitglied des Stiftungsrates Swisscontact.
Nadja Lang (41) ist Geschäftsleiterin der Max Havelaar-Stiftung Schweiz und Vorsitzende des Steuerungsausschusses für das Global Account-Management bei der Dachorganisation Fairtrade International. Die Ökonomin bringt unter anderem eine breite nationale und internationale Führungserfahrung in der Privatwirtschaft und in NGOs sowie umfassendes Know-how in den Bereichen Marketing, Verkauf, Nachhaltigkeit und Corporate Social Responsibility mit. Darüber hinaus ist die gebürtige Zürcherin Vizepräsidentin des Verwaltungsrats der Metron AG.
Deux nominations au Conseil d’administration de la Poste
Le Conseil d’administration de La Poste Suisse SA proposera à l’Assemblée générale du 29 avril 2014 la nomination de deux nouveaux membres, Myriam Meyer et Nadja Lang. Elles doivent succéder d’une part au vice-président sortant Dominique Freymond et, d’autre part, à Nicola Thibaudeau qui a quitté ses fonctions fin 2013.
Le Conseil d’administration de La Poste Suisse SA proposera à l’Assemblée générale du 29 avril 2014 la nomination de deux nouveaux membres, Myriam Meyer et Nadja Lang. Elles doivent prendre la succession de deux de ses membres, Dominique Freymond et Nicola Thibaudeau. Dominique Freymond, actuel vice-président du Conseil d’administration de La Poste Suisse SA, quitte l’organe en 2014, après avoir atteint la limite maximale de douze ans de service. Par ailleurs, il convient de repourvoir le siège de Nicola Thibaudeau. Après avoir exercé ses fonctions pendant sept ans, elle a décidé de quitter fin 2013 le Conseil d’administration pour des raisons professionnelles. Sous réserve de l’approbation des nominations lors de la première Assemblée générale de La Poste Suisse SA qui se tiendra le 29 avril 2014, le Conseil d’administration se composera dorénavant de trois femmes et de six hommes. Depuis le 20 janvier 2010, l’organe est présidé par Peter Hasler.
Myriam Meyer (51 ans), originaire du Valais, est propriétaire et directrice de la société mmtec. Titulaire d’un diplôme d’ingénieur en mécanique EPF, elle a été pendant presque 20 ans à la tête de différentes entreprises industrielles, allant du domaine de l’aviation jusqu’à l’industrie des machines et des procédés en passant par l’industrie pharmaceutique. Ayant siégé dans différents conseils d’administration d’entreprises internationales, elle est au bénéfice d’une grande expérience des CA. Elle est également membre du Conseil d’administration de SITA, de Repower AG et de Bedag Informatique SA. En outre, le Conseil fédéral l’a élue vice-présidente de la Commission pour la technologie et l’innovation (CTI); elle est aussi membre du Conseil d’industrie de l’EPF Zurich / Département de mécanique, et membre du Conseil de fondation de Swisscontact.
Nadja Lang (41 ans), originaire de Zurich, est directrice de la Fondation Max Havelaar (Suisse) et présidente du comité de pilotage du Global Account Management auprès de l’organisation faîtière Fairtrade International. L’économiste apporte notamment une large expérience de direction au niveau national et international dans le domaine de l’économie privée et des ONG, de même qu’un savoir-faire étendu dans le marketing, la vente, la durabilité et la responsabilité sociale. Elle est également vice-présidente du Conseil d’administration de Metron AG.

Il Consiglio di amministrazione della Posta Svizzera SA propone all’Assemblea generale del 29 aprile 2014 Myriam Meyer e Nadja Lang come nuovi membri del Consiglio di amministrazione. Subentreranno al vicepresidente uscente Dominique Freymond e a Nicola Thibaudeau, dimessasi dall’incarico a fine 2013.
Il Consiglio di amministrazione della Posta Svizzera SA propone all’Assemblea generale del 29 aprile 2014 Myriam Meyer e Nadja Lang come nuovi membri del CdA. Esse subentreranno ai precedenti membri Dominique Freymond e Nicola Thibaudeau. Dominique Freymond, vicepresidente in carica del Consiglio di amministrazione della Posta Svizzera SA, nel 2014 lascerà l’organo a causa del raggiungimento della durata massima del mandato di dodici anni. Occorre inoltre occupare il posto lasciato da Nicola Thibaudeau che, dopo sette anni di mandato, a fine 2013 si è dimessa da membro del Consiglio di amministrazione per motivi professionali. Con la conferma delle nomine alla prima Assemblea generale della Posta Svizzera SA del 29 aprile 2014, il Consiglio di amministrazione sarebbe quindi composto da tre donne e sei uomini. L’organo è presieduto dal 20 gennaio 2010 da Peter Hasler.
Myriam Meyer (51) è titolare e direttrice dell’azienda mmtec. Con un dottorato in ingegneria meccanica conseguito presso il PF, ha assunto per quasi 20 anni la direzione di diverse imprese industriali, dall’aviazione, all’industria farmaceutica, fino a quella metalmeccanica e dei processi. Grazie alla carica di membro in diversi consigli di amministrazione di imprese internazionali, ha maturato una grande esperienza a livello di CdA. Nata in Vallese, è membro del Consiglio di amministrazione di SITA, Repower SA e Bedag Informatik SA. È stata inoltre eletta vicepresidentessa della Commissione per la tecnologia e l’innovazione (CTI) dal Consiglio federale, è membro del comitato consultivo industriale del PF di Zurigo / sez. di ingegneria meccanica nonché membro del Consiglio di fondazione Swisscontact.
Nadja Lang (41) è responsabile di direzione della fondazione Max Havelaar Svizzera e presidente della commissione di gestione per il Global Account Management presso l’organizzazione mantello Fairtrade International. L’economista possiede tra l’altro un’ampia esperienza in ambito dirigenziale a livello nazionale e internazionale nel settore privato e nelle ONG nonché un vasto know how nei settori del marketing, delle vendite, della sostenibilità e della Corporate Social Responsibility. Originaria di Zurigo, è inoltre vicepresidentessa del Consiglio di amministrazione di Metron SA.
Two nominations for Swiss Post’s Board of Directors
The Board of Directors of Swiss Post Ltd will propose to the General Meeting due to be held on 29 April 2014 that Dr. Myriam Meyer and Nadja Lang be appointed as new members of the Board. They are set to take over from outgoing Vice-Chairman Dominique Freymond and Board member Nicola Thibaudeau, who stepped down at the end of 2013.
The Board of Directors of Swiss Post Ltd will propose to the General Meeting due to be held on 29 April 2014 that Dr. Myriam Meyer and Nadja Lang be appointed as new members of the Board. They are set to take over from previous members Dominique Freymond and Nicola Thibaudeau. Dominique Freymond, acting Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Swiss Post Ltd, is due to stand down in 2014 after serving the maximum term of office of twelve years. The seat on the Board left vacant by Nicola Thibaudeau also needs to be filled. She left the Board of Directors for professional reasons at the end of 2013 after seven years in office. If the nominations are confirmed at the first General Meeting of Swiss Post Ltd on 29 April 2014, the Board of Directors will then comprise three women and six men. The Board has been chaired by Peter Hasler since 20 January 2010.
Dr. Myriam Meyer (51) is the owner and managing director of the company mmtec. As the holder of a PhD in mechanical engineering from the ETH Zurich, she has worked at top management level for a range of industrial companies in aviation, pharmaceuticals and the mechanical and process engineering industry for almost 20 years. She also has extensive experience serving on the boards of various international companies. Dr. Meyer is originally from the canton of Valais. She is a member of the Board of Directors of SITA, Repower AG and Bedag Informatik AG. She has also been appointed Vice-President of the Commission for Technology and Innovation (CTI) by the Federal Council, is a member of the Industrial Advisory Board of the ETH Zurich / mechanical engineering dept. and a member of the Board of Trustees of Swisscontact.
Nadja Lang (41) is managing director of the Max Havelaar Foundation (Switzerland) and Chair of the Global Account Management Steering Committee at the umbrella organization Fairtrade International. As well as being able to share her wide-ranging experience of the management of national and international private sector companies and NGOs, the Zurich-born business administration graduate has in-depth know-how within marketing, sales, sustainability and corporate social responsibility. Nadja Lang is also Vice-Chairman of the Board of Directors of Metron AG.
