Key traffic figures March 2025
In March 2025, 2,353,808 passengers passed through Zurich Airport, corresponding to an increase of 1% compared to last year.
In March, the number of local passengers was 1,599,846. Transfer passengers amounted to 32%, equal to 750,266 passengers.
Year on year, air traffic movements increased by 4% to 20,930 take offs or landings. The average passenger per movement figure decreased to 126 (-6% vs. previous year). The average seat load factor was at 75% (-4 percentage points vs. previous year).
A total of 41,505 tons of freight were transported at Zurich Airport during the month of March. This led to an increase of 4% in freight volume compared to last year.
