Mark Hartigan appointed CEO Global Life Asia Pacific & Middle East
Zurich today announced the appointment of Mark Hartigan (49, British citizen), currently Head of Strategic Business Development Global Life, to the position of CEO Global Life Asia Pacific & Middle East, effective December 31, 2012. He succeeds Dan Bardin who will retire by end of this year. In this position Mr. Hartigan will be responsible for further developing and executing Global Life’s strategy across all Life businesses in Asia and the Middle East. He will report to Kevin Hogan, CEO Global Life, and be based in Hong Kong.
Mr. Hartigan joined Zurich in 2009 as Head of the International and Expatriates Pillar for Global Life and also became CEO Global Life Middle East within the same year. He joined Zurich from Nexus Group Middle East where he served as Deputy CEO from 2006 to 2009. He holds a master’s degree in International Relations from King’s University College of London.

Zurich hat Mark Hartigan (49, britischer Staatsangehöriger), zurzeit Head of Strategic Business Development Global Life, per 31. Dezember 2012 zum CEO Global Life Asia Pacific & Middle East ernannt. Er folgt auf Dan Bardin, der Ende 2012 in den Ruhestand tritt. Hartigan wird für die weitere Entwicklung und Umsetzung der Strategie von Global Life in Asien und im Nahen Osten verantwortlich sein. Er wird an Kevin Hogan, CEO Global Life, berichten und in Hongkong tätig sein.
Hartigan stiess 2009 als Head of International and Expatriates Global Life zu Zurich und wurde im gleichen Jahr zum CEO Global Life Middle East ernannt. Davor war er von 2006 bis 2009 als Deputy CEO für die Nexus Group Middle East tätig. Er besitzt einen Master-Abschluss in Internationalen Beziehungen des King’s College University of London.
