At this year’s Laser World of Photonics, we showcased our latest laser innovations – from vibrant blue to powerful infrared – driven by advanced VCSEL and EEL technologies. Dr. Jörg Heerlein, Business Development EEL, reports from the Munich show, sharing insights on optical sensing technologies including 3D sensing featuring IR:6 infrared LED technology. Blue laser diodes let machines “see” better. Green laser diodes measure precise levelling for the construction industry. Sensors Converge: true color and photon-level sensing  

At Sensors Converge, we showcased breakthroughs in color sensing, photon detection, and optical force sensing – enabling precise color measurement and advanced low-light diagnostics.  

Two ams OSRAM products were nominated for the 2025 Best of Sensors Awards—and one of them won.
