Key traffic figures October 2025
In October 2025, 3,168,118 passengers passed through Zurich Airport, corresponding to an increase of 6.7% compared to last year.
In October, the number of local passengers was 2,302,670. Transfer passengers accounted for 27.2%, equal to 860,832 passengers.
Year-on-year, air traffic movements increased by 3.4% to 24,625 take-offs and landings. The average number of passengers per movement figure increased to 143.3 (+2.3% vs. previous year). The average seat load factor was at 83.2% (+0.4 percentage point vs. previous year).
A total of 39,831 tons of freight were transported at Zurich Airport during the month of October. This led to an increase of 0.3% in freight volume compared to last year.
