Michael Rauterkus, President of GF Building Flow Solutions and member of the GF Executive Committee, has decided to step down from his position to pursue his career outside of GF. He will hand over to CEO Andreas Müller in the upcoming weeks who will lead GF Building Flow Solutions on an interim basis.
In November 2023, Michael Rauterkus joined GF in connection with the acquisition of Uponor, where he had served as President and CEO since 2021. Following the completion of the transaction, he became President of the newly established division GF Building Flow Solutions and a member of the GF Executive Committee.
Under his leadership, the integration of Uponor progressed swiftly and successfully. This included the alignment of organizational structures, launch of new innovations, important portfolio adjustments and the transfer of several hundred employees between GF Piping Systems (today: GF Industry and Infrastructure Flow Solutions) and the former Uponor business, ensuring a strong strategic and operational fit within GF’s Flow Solutions portfolio.
Through his deep industry expertise and international leadership experience, Michael Rauterkus significantly contributed to strengthening GF’s presence in the building and construction markets, especially in the US, and to advancing GF’s transformation into a fully focused Flow Solutions company.
