Dr Peter Müller named as the new CEO of the ORIOR Group Montag, 04. Mai 2026 - 06:04

Zurich, 4 May 2026

The Board of Directors of ORIOR AG has appointed Dr Peter Müller (born in 1971) as its new CEO. He will take over the leadership of the ORIOR Group as of 1 September 2026, replacing Monika Friedli-Walser, who has been successfully leading the company for around a year in a dual role.

“Peter Müller is a perfect fit in many ways for our ORIOR,” said Monika Friedli-Walser, Chairwoman and Delegate of the Board of Directors. “His many years of successful experience as a CEO along with his wide-ranging experience with transformation and restructuring projects and M&A transactions speak for themselves. I am very pleased that we were able to recruit such an outstanding leader in Peter Müller.”

Dr Müller possesses long-standing experience as a CEO of similar-sized companies and is considered a proven transformation leader with a strong track record. His profile includes strategic repositioning, growth initiatives and large-scale reorganisation projects. In addition to this, he brings international experience in Europe, Asia and North America.

His career combines extensive management experience in industrial manufacturing and encompasses both branded and private-label product ranges. After various leadership positions at the Cham Paper Group – ultimately becoming Managing Director – he moved to the Mibelle Group (formerly Migros) in 2015, where he was initially responsible for Operations & Supply Chain and has been serving as CEO since the end of 2021. While there, he spearheaded the company’s successful transformation into a multichannel organisation and most recently played a decisive role in the carve-out and the acquisition by the Spanish Persán Group.
