Generalversammlung genehmigt alle Anträge des Verwaltungsrates

Altdorf/Kairo, 13. Mai 2014 - Gestern fand in Altdorf, Schweiz, die 6.
ordentliche Generalversammlung der Orascom Development Holding AG (Orascom
Development) statt. An der Generalversammlung nahmen 296 Aktionäre teil.
Insgesamt waren 62,14% des ausgegebenen Aktienkapitals vertreten.

Sämtliche Anträge des Verwaltungsrates wurden mit deutlicher Mehrheit
angenommen. Insbesondere wurde auch den Statutenänderungen aufgrund der
Verordnung gegen übermässige Vergütungen bei börsenkotierten
Aktiengesellschaften, sowie zur Vornahme einer genehmigten Kapitalerhöhung
stattgegeben.

Alle bisherigen Verwaltungsräte (bis auf Jean-Gabriel Pérès, der nicht zur
Wiederwahl stand) wurden für ein weiteres Amtsjahr bestätigt. Zudem wurden
Jürgen Fischer und Jürg Weber als neue Mitglieder für ein Amtsjahr in den
Verwaltungsrat gewählt.

Für das Geschäftsjahr 2013 wird keine Dividende ausgeschüttet.

Nach dem sehr anspruchsvollen Geschäftsjahr 2013 erwartet die
Geschäftsleitung von Orascom Development keine weiteren Verluste für das
erste Quartal 2014.
