SIX launches Swiss trade repository

SIX is to establish a central trade repository for derivative transactions in cooperation with Swiss banks. This will enhance the transparency and traceability of derivative transactions, in accordance with regulatory requirements, and help improve financial market stability. The Swiss Financial Market Infrastructure Act (FMIA), which is currently in consultation, represents the legal basis for the creation of a trade repository.

 

SIX lanciert Schweizer Transaktionsregister

SIX realisiert gemeinsam mit den Schweizer Banken ein zentrales Transaktionsregister für Derivate-Transaktionen. Damit wird die regulatorisch geforderte Transparenz und die Nachvollziehbarkeit von Derivate-Transaktionen erhöht und ein Beitrag zur Stabilität der Finanzmärkte geleistet. Rechtsgrundlage für ein Transaktionsregister ist das zurzeit in Beratung befindliche Finanzmarkt-Infrastrukturgesetz.


SIX lance un registre des transactions suisses

SIX crée un registre central des transactions sur produits dérivés conjointement avec les banques suisses. Ainsi la transparence exigée par la loi et la traçabilité des transactions sur produits dérivés sont-elles renforcées, ce registre contribuant parallèlement à la stabilité des marchés financiers. La loi sur l’infrastructure des marchés financiers actuellement en cours de consultation constitue la base légale de ce registre des transactions.
