UBS gab heute bekannt, dass Sabine Keller-Busse zum Group Head of Human Resources ernannt wurde. Sie wird in dieser Funktion dem Group Chief Executive Officer, Sergio. P. Ermotti, unterstellt sein. Sie tritt die Nachfolge von John Bradley an, der aus familiären Gründen von seiner Funktion zurücktritt.
Zürich/Basel, 13. Juni 2014 – Sabine Keller-Busse ist zurzeit Chief Operating Officer von UBS Schweiz und des Retail & Corporate-Geschäfts der Bank. Sie kann für ihre neue Aufgabe auf umfangreiche Erfahrung im Bankgeschäft zurückgreifen. Ausserdem verfügt sie über ein profundes Verständnis dafür, welche Anforderungen die verschiedenen Geschäftsbereiche an Human Resources stellen. Sie übernimmt ihre neuen Aufgaben als Group Head of Human Resources per 1. August 2014.
Sabine Keller-Busse hat grosse Teams zum Erfolg geleitet und verfügt über ausgewiesene Führungskompetenz. In den vergangenen Jahren hat sie wesentlich zur Entwicklung und Umsetzung der sehr effektiven Strategie der integrierten Bank in der Schweiz beigetragen. Darüber hinaus hat ihr Team die Implementierung des Multi-Kanal-Angebots im Heimmarkt der Bank gesteuert, zu dem auch die neuen, mehrfach ausgezeichneten Mobile- und E-Banking-Applikationen gehören.
Sabine Keller-Busse wechselte vor vier Jahren von der Credit Suisse in ihre heutige Funktion bei UBS. Dort war sie für das Schweizer Privatkundengeschäft in der Region Zürich verantwortlich. Zuvor war sie zwölf Jahre beim Unternehmensberater McKinsey tätig, wo sie Kunden im Finanzdienstleistungssektor betreute.

John Bradley stiess Ende 2009 zu UBS und transformierte die Human-Resources-Funktion: Er hat sich stark dafür eingesetzt, Human Resources enger an den Bedürfnissen der Kunden auszurichten und hat das Produkt- und Dienstleistungsangebot gestrafft und somit eine signifikante Effizienz- und Effektivitätssteigerung erreicht. John Bradley wurde von der Konzernleitung als vertrauenswürdiger Berater für alle Fragen im Zusammenhang mit Human Resources geschätzt.
Sergio P. Ermotti sagte zum Rücktritt von John Bradley: «Ich danke John Bradley für seinen unermüdlichen Einsatz für die Bank. Er hat hervorragende Arbeit geleistet. Wir bedauern seine Entscheidung, sich von dieser wichtigen Funktion zurückzuziehen, verstehen und unterstützen ihn jedoch bei seinem Entschluss.»

Sabine Keller-Busse appointed Group Head of Human Resources
UBS today announced that Sabine Keller-Busse will assume the role of Group Head of Human Resources reporting to Group Chief Executive Officer Sergio P. Ermotti. She succeeds John Bradley, who is stepping down for personal family reasons.
Zurich/Basel, 13 June 2014 – Mrs Keller-Busse is currently the Chief Operating Officer of UBS Switzerland and the firm's Retail & Corporate business. She not only brings significant commercial experience to the role, but also a strong understanding of what our businesses need most from Human Resources. The appointment is effective August 1, 2014.
Mrs Keller-Busse is also a proven leader having led large teams to success. In recent years, she played a significant role in the development and execution of the firm's highly effective integrated bank strategy in Switzerland. Her team also managed the implementation of the multi-channel approach adopted by UBS in its home market including its new and award-winning mobile and e-banking applications.
Mrs Keller-Busse joined UBS in her current role four years ago from Credit Suisse where she was responsible for the Swiss private client business in the Zurich region. Prior to that, she spent 12 years at the management consultancy McKinsey & Company working with financial services clients.
Sergio P. Ermotti, UBS Group Chief Executive Officer said, “We value Sabine's strategic mindset as well as her results-oriented and collaborative style. I am confident that she will build on John's success in transforming Human Resources at UBS."
John Bradley joined UBS in late 2009 and transformed Human Resources at the firm. He worked to bring the function closer to its clients while at the same time streamlining service delivery to significantly increase efficiency and effectiveness. He was also a trusted advisor to the Group Executive Board in all Human Resources matters.
Commenting on John Bradley's departure, Sergio Ermotti said: "I want to thank John for his tireless contribution to the firm. He did an excellent job. We will miss John from this important role, but understand and support his decision."
