Ascom liefert hochmoderne Kommunikationslösungen an neues schwedisches Spital Nya Karolinska Solna Donnerstag, 26. Juni 2014 - 07:23

Ascom Wireless Solutions hat in einer öffentlichen Ausschreibung den Zuschlag für die Lieferung neuster Kommunikationslösungen im Umfang von rund CHF 1,4 Mio an das neue schwedische Spital Nya Karolinska Solna erhalten.

Die Vereinbarung umfasst eine Zusammenarbeit von Ascom mit Telia und ist Teil der Investition des Stockholmer County Council in das neue Weltklasse-Universitätsspital Nya Karolinska Solna (NKS). Das neue Spital wird über 630 Betten verfügen und ist in Solna situiert, in der Nähe von Stockholm. Im Laufe des Jahres 2016 sollen die ersten Patienten das Spital in Anspruch nehmen können.

Ascom wird NKS mit modernsten Lösungen für „mission-critical Communication“ beliefern. Dazu zählt beispielsweise das Alarm-Management für Patienten sowie für die medizintechnische Einrichtung. Diese Lösungen bilden einen Teil des Kerns der Kommunikation im Spital. Ascom hat Telia mit dem Projektmanagement während der Implementation beauftragt. Telia ist zudem verantwortlich für die Festnetz- und Mobiltelefonie für den Stockholmer County Council.

ASCOM DELIVERS CUTTING EDGE HEALTHCARE COMMUNICATION SOLUTIONS TO NEW SWEDISH HOSPITAL NYA KAROLINSKA SOLNA

Ascom Wireless Solutions wins in a public bid an order of about CHF 1.4 million from the new Swedish hospital Nya Karolinska Solna to deliver advanced healthcare communication solutions.

The agreement is a cooperation between Ascom and Telia and is a part of the Stockholm County Council investment in a new world-class university hospital, Nya Karolinska Solna (NKS). The new hospital will have 630 beds and will be located in Solna, close to Stockholm. The hospital will receive its first patients during 2016.

Ascom will supply NKS with advanced solutions for mission-critical communications, such as alarm handling from patients and medical technical equipment, which will be at the core of the communication of the hospital. Ascom contracted Telia for project management during the implementation. Telia is also responsible for both stationery and mobile telephony for Stockholm County Council.

“Winning this contract in a public bidding procedure is a proof of strength for Ascom.
