Lausanne – Die Alpiq Holding AG (Alpiq) schliesst ihren Rückkauf von Anleihen mit Fälligkeiten 2015 bis 2018 erfolgreich ab. Das Unternehmen reduziert damit seine Bruttoverschuldung um 543,4 Mio. CHF. Gleichzeitig hat Alpiq eine Anleihe über 300 Mio. CHF mit einer zehnjährigen Laufzeit erfolgreich am Markt platziert. Der Erlös wird für die Refinanzierung und für Investitionen in neue Wachstumsfelder im Rahmen der Strategie der Alpiq Gruppe verwendet.
Das Angebot zum Rückkauf war auf maximal 500 Mio. CHF Nennwert limitiert und betraf sieben Anleihen mit Fälligkeiten 2015 bis 2018 im Nennwert von 1,75 Mrd. CHF. Die neuntägige Angebotsfrist endete am 17. Juli 2014. Insgesamt wurden Alpiq Anleihen im Nennwert von 667,8 Mio. CHF zum Rückkauf angedient. Alpiq hat davon 543,4 Mio. CHF angenommen. Die zurückgekauften Anleihen werden vernichtet. Mit dem Settlement am 29. Juli 2014 schliesst Alpiq den Anleihenrückkauf ab. Damit reduziert das Unternehmen seine Bruttoverschuldung und die zukünftigen Finanzierungskosten.
Gleichzeitig hat Alpiq mit dem Rückkauf der bestehenden Anleihen eine neue Anleihe über 300 Mio. CHF Nennwert mit einer zehnjährigen Laufzeit und einem Coupon von 2,625 Prozent platziert. Mit der neuen Anleihe profitiert Alpiq vom tiefen Zinsniveau und verlängert das Fälligkeitsprofil. Der Erlös wird für die Refinanzierung und für Investitionen in neue Wachstumsfelder im Rahmen der Strategie der Alpiq Gruppe verwendet. Die Liberierung der Anleihe erfolgt am 29. Juli 2014.

Lausanne – Alpiq Holding SA (Alpiq) clôture avec succès son offre de rachat d’emprunts ayant des échéances allant de 2015 à 2018. L’entreprise réduit ainsi son endettement brut de 543,4 mio. de CHF. Dans le même temps, Alpiq a placé avec succès sur le marché un emprunt de 300 mio. de CHF d’une durée de 10 ans. Ces fonds seront utilisés pour le refinancement et pour des investissements dans de nouveaux secteurs en expansion, dans le cadre de la stratégie du groupe Alpiq.
L’offre de rachat était limitée à une valeur nominale maximale de 500 mio. de CHF et concernait sept emprunts ayant des échéances allant de 2015 à 2018, d’une valeur nominale de 1,75 milliard de francs. Le délai de soumission de 9 jours s’achevait le 17 juillet 2014. Au total, la valeur nominale des propositions de rachat a atteint 667,8 mio. de CHF. Alpiq en a accepté 543,4 mio. de CHF. Les emprunts rachetés seront annulés. Le paiement des rachats mettra un terme à l’opération le 29 juillet 2014. L’entreprise réduira ainsi son endettement brut et ses coûts financiers.
En parallèle au rachat des emprunts existants, Alpiq a placé un nouvel emprunt d’une valeur nominale de 300 mio. de CHF et d’une durée de dix ans, assorti d’un coupon de 2,625%. Avec cet emprunt, Alpiq profite du bas niveau des taux d’intérêt et allonge son profil d’échéance. Ces fonds seront utilisés pour le refinancement et pour des investissements dans de nouveaux secteurs en expansion, dans le cadre de la stratégie du groupe Alpiq. La libération de l’emprunt aura lieu le 29 juillet 2014.

Lausanne – Alpiq Holding AG (Alpiq) has successfully concluded its buyback of outstanding senior CHF bonds due 2015-2018. As a result, the company has reduced its gross debt by CHF 543.4 million. Simultaneously, Alpiq has successfully placed a senior bond for CHF 300 million with a tenor of ten years on the market. The proceeds will be used for refinancing purposes and investments in new growth areas under the Alpiq Group strategy.
The cash tender offer was limited to a maximum par value of CHF 500 million and concerned seven senior bonds due 2015-2018 with a total par value amounting to CHF 1.75 billion. The 9-day cash tender offer period ended on 17 July 2014. In total, bonds amounting to a par value of CHF 667.8 million were tendered for buyback. Of these bonds, Alpiq accepted CHF 543.4 million. The bonds bought back will be cancelled. The settlement on 29 July 2014 marks the completion of Alpiq’s cash tender offer. The company will have thereby reduced its gross debt and future funding costs.
Concurrently to the cash tender offer of existing senior bonds, Alpiq has issued a new bond for a par value amounting to CHF 300 million with a tenor of ten years and a coupon of 2.625 percent. With the new bond, Alpiq takes advantage from the low interest rate environment and lengthens its debt maturity profile. The proceeds will be used for refinancing purposes and investments in new growth areas under the Alpiq Group strategy. The bond settlement is expected to take place on 29 July 2014.
