SFS übernimmt Mehrheit an indischem Automobilzulieferer
SFS Group AG erhöht ihren Anteil an Indo Schöttle Auto Parts per 31. Juli 2014 auf rund 86%.
Die SFS Group AG (SFS) erhöhte per 31. Juli 2014 ihre Beteiligung an der Indo Schöttle Auto Parts (Indo Schöttle) von 45% auf neu rund 86%. Indo Schöttle ist als Zulieferer von Präzisionsteilen erfolgreich in der Fahrzeugindustrie positioniert. SFS nutzt Indo Schöttle zudem als Plattform zur Entwicklung von neuen Geschäftsaktivitäten im Zukunftsmarkt Indien.
Per 31. Juli 2014 hat SFS ihre Beteiligung an der Indo Schöttle von 45% auf neu rund 86% ausgebaut. Über 10% des Aktienkapitals verbleiben bei der Gründerfamilie. Die Konsolidierung erfolgt per 1. Juli 2014. Bereits 2012 hatte SFS eine Beteiligung von 45% und eine Option zur späteren Übernahme der Mehrheit am indischen Unternehmen erworben.
Das bisherige Familienunternehmen Indo Schöttle hat seinen Sitz in Pune, rund 200 Kilometer östlich von Mumbai (Indien). Das Unternehmen, das über fünf Produktionsstandorte in Pune und Belgaum verfügt, ist auf die Präzisionszerspanung spezialisiert und ist darüber hinaus in der Kaltumformung tätig. Indo Schöttle beliefert vornehmlich die indische und internationale Fahrzeugindustrie. Die Präzisionskomponenten werden hauptsächlich in Motoren (insbesondere Turbolader) und Hydraulikanwendungen eingesetzt. Das Unternehmen weist ein starkes organisches Wachstum bei einer gleichzeitig guten Ertragslage aus. Indo Schöttle plant im laufenden Jahr einen Umsatz von 27 Mio. CHF zu erreichen und beschäftigt aktuell rund 700 Mitarbeitende. Das Management der Firma bleibt unverändert.

Nach dem Joint Venture Sunil SFS intec (China), der Übernahme der Unisteel Technology (Singapur) und der kürzlich erfolgten Inbetriebnahme eines neuen Werks im Wirtschaftsraum Guangzhou), ist die Übernahme von Indo Schöttle für SFS ein weiterer wichtiger Schritt zur Stärkung der Präsenz in den asiatischen Wachstumsregionen. Durch den Zugang zu neuen Anwendungen im Bereich Motoren und Hydraulik baut SFS seine Position in der Fahrzeugindustrie weiter aus. Im Gleichzug wird Indo Schöttle in der Kaltumformungstechnologie vom Know-how von SFS, einem der weltweit führenden Unternehmen in dieser Technologie, entscheidend profitieren.

SFS acquires majority shareholding in Indian automotive supplier
SFS increases its stake in Indo Schöttle Auto Parts to approximately 86% on 31 July 2014.
The SFS Group AG (SFS) increased its stake in Indo Schöttle Auto Parts (Indo Schöttle) from 45% to approximately 86%. Indo Schöttle is a well positioned supplier of high precision parts for the automotive industry. SFS aims to leverage Indo Schöttle as a platform for the development of other business activities in the growing Indian market.
SFS increased its shareholding in Indo Schöttle from 45% to approximately 86% effective 31 July 2014. More than 10% of the shares remain in the ownership of the founding family. The shareholding will be consolidated as of 1 July 2014. In 2012, SFS purchased 45% of the shares of Indo Schöttle with an option to acquire a majority shareholding in the Indian company at a later date.
Indo Schöttle is a formerly family-owned business headquartered in Pune, which is located some 200 km east of Mumbai (India). The company is a specialist in the field of precision machining and also deploys cold forming technology. It operates five manufacturing sites in Pune and Belgaum. Indo Schöttle is a partner primarily for the domestic and international automotive industry. Its precision machined components are mainly used in engines (especially turbochargers) and hydraulics. The company has posted strong organic growth as well as sound profitability. In the current year Indo Schöttle envisages sales of CHF 27 million and employs approximately 700 people. There will be no changes in the company management.

After the Sunil SFS intec joint venture (China), the Unisteel Technology acquisition (Singapore) and the recent commissioning of a new factory in Guangzhou (China), the acquisition of Indo Schöttle marks a further step towards strengthening SFS's position in the growing Asian markets. By gaining access to new applications for engines and hydraulics, SFS can build on its position in the automobile industry. Indo Schöttle's good position in the Indian automotive industry shall be further improved, in particular by leveraging SFS's proven competences in cold forming technology.
