Neue Führungsstruktur mit zwei CEOs ermöglicht fokussierte Entwicklung der beiden Geschäftseinheiten.
_Nachdem die Galenica Gruppe seit 1995 konsequent ihre Transformationsstrategie mit Erfolg umsetzt, will sie sich nun auf eine neue Phase vorbereiten. Entsprechend wird die operative Führungsstruktur angepasst.
_Die Gruppe wird künftig von zwei CEOs geführt: einem CEO für Vifor Pharma (ehemalige Generaldirektion Pharma) und einem CEO für Galenica Santé (ehemalige Generaldirektion Santé). Beide CEOs werden direkt an den Exekutiven Verwaltungsratspräsidenten rapportieren. Die Funktion des CEO Galenica Gruppe wird damit aufgehoben.
_Die neue Führungsstruktur ermöglicht es, die unterschiedlichen Geschäftsmodelle Pharma und Santé unter Berücksichtigung ihrer individuellen Wachstumsdynamik noch fokussierter weiterzuentwickeln. Damit schafft der Verwaltungsrat optimale Voraussetzungen, damit sich die beiden Geschäftseinheiten Vifor Pharma und Galenica Santé darauf vorbereiten können, zwei an der Börse kotierte und voneinander unabhängige Unternehmen zu werden, wenn die Zeit dafür gekommen ist.
_Der Verwaltungsrat der Galenica Gruppe hat Søren Tulstrup als CEO Generaldirektion Vifor Pharma ernannt und Jörg Kneubühler als CEO Generaldirektion Galenica Santé. Jörg Kneubühler behält gleichzeitig seine Funktion als CFO der Galenica Gruppe. Die neue Struktur tritt per sofort in Kraft.
_David Ebsworth, seit 2009 CEO von Vifor Pharma und 2011 zum CEO der Galenica Gruppe ernannt, hat entschieden, sich von seinen operativen Aufgaben zurückzuziehen und per 31. August 2015 in den wohlverdienten Ruhestand zu treten. Er wird die Galenica Gruppe weiterhin bei Sonderprojekten mit seinem Know-how und seiner exzellenten Pharmaexpertise unterstützen. David Ebsworth hat mit seinem unermüdlichen Engagement in den letzten fünf Jahren deutlich zum Erfolg der Galenica Gruppe beigetragen.

New management structure with two CEOs will enable focused development of both units.
_Following the successful systematic implementation of its transformation strategy since 1995, the Galenica Group is now preparing for a new phase. Accordingly, its operational management structure is being adapted.
_In future, the Group will be headed by two CEOs: one CEO for Vifor Pharma (former Pharma Division) and one CEO for Galenica Santé (former Santé Division). Both CEOs will report directly to the Executive Chairman. The role of CEO Galenica Group is being abolished.
_The new management structure will enable the different Pharma and Santé business models to develop in an even more focused way, taking into account their individual growth dynamics. With this move, the Board of Directors of the Galenica Group is creating the best possible conditions for both the Vifor Pharma and Galenica Santé units to prepare to become listed, independent companies when the time is right.
_The Board of Directors of the Galenica Group has appointed Søren Tulstrup as CEO of the Vifor Pharma Division and Jörg Kneubühler as CEO of the Galenica Santé Division. Jörg Kneubühler will also continue to be CFO of the Galenica Group. The new structure will enter into effect immediately.
_David Ebsworth, who has been CEO of Vifor Pharma since 2009 and was appointed CEO Galenica Group in 2011, has decided to step down from his operational duties and to take well-earned retirement from 31 August 2015. He will continue to support the Galenica Group in a Special Projects role given his knowledge and excellent pharma expertise. David Ebsworth has made a considerable contribution to the success of the Galenica Group through his tireless commitment over the past five years.

La nouvelle structure de conduite avec deux CEO permet le développement ciblé des deux entités.
_Après la mise en oeuvre systématique et réussie de la stratégie de transformation depuis 1995, le Groupe Galenica s’apprête maintenant à entrer dans une nouvelle phase. En conséquence, la structure de la conduite opérationnelle sera adaptée.
_Le Groupe sera à l’avenir conduit par deux CEO: un CEO pour Vifor Pharma (ancienne Direction générale Pharma) et un CEO pour Galenica Santé (ancienne Direction générale Santé). Les deux CEO rapporteront directement au Président Exécutif. La fonction de CEO du Groupe Galenica est donc supprimée.
_La nouvelle structure de conduite permet de développer de manière plus ciblée encore les modèles d’affaires différents de Pharma et Santé en tenant compte de leur dynamique de croissance individuelle. Ainsi, le Conseil d’administration du Groupe Galenica crée les conditions optimales afin que Vifor Pharma et Galenica Santé puissent se préparer à devenir, le moment donné, deux entreprises indépendantes cotées en Bourse.
_Le Conseil d’administration du Groupe Galenica a nommé Søren Tulstrup CEO de la Direction générale Vifor Pharma et Jörg Kneubühler CEO de la Direction générale Galenica Santé. Jörg Kneubühler conservera ses fonctions de CFO du Groupe Galenica. La nouvelle structure entre en vigueur immédiatement.
_David Ebsworth, CEO de Vifor Pharma depuis 2009 et nommé CEO du Groupe Galenica en 2011, a décidé de se retirer de ses tâches opérationnelles et de prendre une retraite bien méritée au 31 août 2015. II continuera d’apporter son soutien au Groupe Galenica dans le cadre de projets spéciaux en mettant à son service son savoir-faire et son excellente expertise pharmaceutique. Par son engagement infatigable, David Ebsworth a fortement contribué au succès du Groupe Galenica ces cinq dernières années.
