Clariant wächst in Australien mit neuer Masterbatches-Anlage Dienstag, 12. August 2014 - 07:11

  • Neue Masterbatches-Anlage im Grossraum Sydney soll im vierten Quartal 2014 eröffnet werden

Muttenz, 12. August 2014 – Clariant, ein weltweit führendes Spezialchemie-unternehmen, hat heute bekanntgegeben, ihr neuestes Werk für Masterbatches im Grossraum Sydney (Australien) zu errichten. Die neue Anlage wird hauptsächlich den australischen Markt mit einem vollständigen Sortiment an Farb- und Additiv-Masterbatches sowie technisch innovativen Lösungen und Dienstleistungen bedienen. Damit soll die wachsende lokale Nachfrage gedeckt werden. Die Anlage befindet sich im Bau und soll im vierten Quartal 2014 in Betrieb genommen werden.


In enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem Werk in Albany (Neuseeland) wird die australische Anlage das komplette, an die lokalen Kundenbedürfnisse angepasste Sortiment an Farb- und Additiv-Masterbatches herstellen, samt Color Matching und Qualitätskontrolle.

CLARIANT TO GROW IN AUSTRALIA WITH NEW MASTERBATCHES PLANT

Muttenz, 12 August 2014 – Clariant, a world leader in specialty chemicals, announces plans to build its newest masterbatches plant in greater Sydney Area, Australia. The new plant will mainly serve the Australian market with a full range of color and additive masterbatches, technically innovative solutions and services to meet the growing local needs. Construction on the plant is currently underway, with plans of commissioning in the fourth quarter 2014.


Working closely with Clariant’s New Zealand Albany site, the Australian plant will produce a full range of color and additive masterbatches tailored to local customer requirements, along with color matching and quality control capabilities.


“Asia Pacific region is one of Clariant’s focal areas for future development. The new Australian masterbatches plant will support our Masterbatches business to grow and to increase its customer service focus in the region,”commented Mathias Lütgendorf, Member of the Executive Committee.
