Kilchberg, 5. September 2014 - Die Lindt & Sprüngli Gruppe verstärkt mit sofortiger Wirkung die oberste Führungsspitze. Rolf Fallegger, bislang Mitglied der Erweiterten Konzernleitung, wird in die Konzernleitung berufen. Rolf Fallegger begann seine Laufbahn bei Lindt & Sprüngli im Jahr 1997 als Marketing-Chef der Lindt & Sprüngli Schweiz. Danach war er als CEO der Lindt & Sprüngli Tochtergesellschaften in Grossbritannien und Frankreich tätig. 2009 kehrte er an den Schweizer Standort zurück und seit 2011 war er Mitglied der Erweiterten Konzernleitung. In seiner Funktion auf Gruppenebene ist Rolf Fallegger für die Entwicklung spezifischer Märkte zuständig. Der Ausbau der Konzernleitung und die damit verbundene Stärkung der Führungsstruktur ist ein wichtiger und zukunftsorientierter Schritt im Hinblick auf die Anpassung der gruppenweiten Organisation an die Herausforderungen der Zukunft und die weitere geografische Expansion. Andreas Pfluger, Mitglied der Konzernleitung übernimmt zusätzlich die Verantwortung der neu akquirierten Firma Russell Stover Candy Inc. als Präsident und CEO. Lindt & Sprüngli MEDIA RELEASE Strengthening of Management Team on Group Level Kilchberg, 5 September 2014 - Lindt & Sprüngli Group strengthens top level management with immediate effect. Ralf Fallegger, former member of the Extended Group Management, is appointed as a member of the Group Management. Rolf Fallegger started his career at Lindt & Sprüngli in 1997 as marketing director at Lindt & Sprüngli Switzerland. He was then appointed CEO of the Lindt & Sprüngli subsidiary companies in Great Britain and France. In 2009, he returned to the Swiss base and has been a member of the Extended Group Management since 2011. In his function at Group level Rolf Fallegger is responsible for the development of specific markets. The enlargement of the Group Management and the resulting strengthening of the management structure is an important and future oriented step in view of the adaptation of the Group wide organization to the challenges of the future and the ongoing geographic expansion.
