Leclanché S.A. (SIX Swiss Exchange: LECN), specializing in the production of large-format lithium-ion cells and energy storage solutions, announced today that Mr. Joachim Simonis, Head of sales and marketing and member of the management team will be leaving the company at his own request to pursue other interests. The company would like to thank M. Simonis for his useful contribution during the past year and wishes him every success in his future endeavors.

Leclanché is currently working on the introduction a new growth plan that will position the company as a complete Battery System Provider, significantly increasing Leclanché’s addressable market and with the ability to address the full spectrum of power-intensive and energy-intensive applications. In this respect, Leclanché will be introducing a new organization in charge of implementing the new growth plan.
