Uhr – Im dritten Quartal 2014 hat die Mikron Gruppe die allgemeine
Zurückhaltung in den globalen Investitionsgütermärkten teilweise stark
zu spüren bekommen. Während das Geschäftssegment Automation aufgrund des
nach wie vor guten Auftragsbestands insgesamt weiterhin angemessen
ausgelastet ist, haben die fehlenden Neuaufträge im Geschäftssegment
Machining in den letzten Monaten zu einer ungenügenden Auslastung in
einzelnen Werken geführt. Unter diesen Voraussetzungen rechnet Mikron
heute für das Geschäftsjahr 2014 mit einem positiven, jedoch tieferen
EBIT als für das Jahr 2013.
Die Mikron Gruppe
verzeichnete in den ersten neun Monaten des Jahres 2014 einen
Bestellungseingang von CHF 194,2 Mio. (erste neun Monate 2013: CHF 186,4
Mio.) und einen Umsatz von CHF 177,2 Mio. (erste neun Monate 2013: CHF
178,3 Mio.) Der guten Nachfrage nach Montagesystemen, insbesondere in
den USA, stand ein ausgeprägter Rückgang des Bestellungseingangs von
Grossprojekten bei den Rundtakttransfermaschinen gegenüber. Dies hatte
eine ungenügende Auslastung der vorhandenen Kapazitäten, insbesondere im
Werk Agno, Schweiz, zur Folge.
Die unsichere Entwicklung in den
verschiedenen Absatzmärkten wird die Auslastung in den einzelnen Werken
und damit auch die Profitabilität der Gruppe weiterhin stark
beeinflussen. Das Geschäftssegment Automation dürfte sich weiter positiv
entwickeln. Insgesamt rechnet die Gruppe für das Geschäftsjahr 2014
unverändert mit einer leichten Umsatzsteigerung. Beim EBIT allerdings
ist unter den gegebenen Voraussetzungen mit einem Rückgang zu rechnen.

Mikron s’attend à une baisse de son résultat en 2014

le 24 octobre 2014, 7 h 00 – La tendance générale à la prudence
constatée sur les marchés des biens d’investissement à l’échelle
mondiale a fortement affecté le groupe Mikron à certains égards au
troisième trimestre 2014. Le segment Automation continue d’afficher un
taux d’activité adéquat en raison du carnet de commandes toujours
satisfaisant. Cependant le manque de nouvelles commandes du segment
Machining, ces derniers mois, a conduit à une sous-utilisation des
capacités dans certaines usines. Dans ce contexte, Mikron table
aujourd’hui pour l’exercice 2014 sur un EBIT positif, mais moins élevé
qu’en 2013.
Au cours des neuf
premiers mois de l’année 2014, le groupe Mikron a enregistré des entrées
de commandes de CHF 194,2 millions (même période en 2013:
CHF 186,4 millions) et un chiffre d’affaires de CHF 177,2 millions (même
période en 2013: CHF 178,3 millions). La demande importante de systèmes
d’assemblage, en particulier aux Etats-Unis, a été contrebalancée par
le recul marqué des entrées de commandes de grands projets dans les
machines à transfert rotatif. Il en a résulté une exploitation
insuffisante des capacités existantes, notamment dans l’usine suisse
d’Agno.
L’évolution incertaine sur les divers marchés continuera
d’impacter considérablement le taux d’utilisation des capacités dans les
différentes usines et, partant, la rentabilité du groupe. Le segment
Automation devrait continuer à évoluer positivement. Dans l’ensemble, le
groupe table toujours sur une légère augmentation de son chiffre
d’affaires pour l’exercice 2014, mais escompte une baisse de son EBIT au
vu des circonstances actuelles.

Mikron expects lower result for 2014

October 24, 2014, 7 a.m. – In the third quarter of 2014, the Mikron
Group felt the effects of the general reticence on the global capital
goods markets strongly in some areas. Capacity utilization in the
Automation business segment remains decent overall as the order backlog
is still good. However, a lack of new orders in the Machining business
segment in recent months has resulted in an unsatisfactory level of
capacity utilization at certain sites. Against this backdrop, for the
2014 financial year Mikron now expects positive, but lower EBIT compared
with 2013.
In the first nine months of 2014, the Mikron
Group reported order intake of CHF 194.2 million (first nine months of
2013: CHF 186.4 million) with sales coming to CHF 177.2 million (first
nine months of 2013: CHF 178.3 million). Solid demand for assembly
systems, especially in the US, contrasted with a sharp decrease in order
intake for large-scale projects of rotary transfer machines. As a
result, the available capacity was not sufficiently utilized,
particularly at the plant in Agno, Switzerland.
The uncertain
development in the various sales markets will continue to have a major
impact on capacity utilization at the individual sites and the Group's
profitability. The Automation business segment is expected to continue
to perform well. Overall, the Group still anticipates a slight rise in
sales for the 2014 business year. Given the circumstances, however, EBIT
is expected to fall.
